HOW TO KNOW WHEN MISSY IS COMING OUT WITH NEW MUSIC
Where is Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott? Ever since that scare with Graves disease, Missy laid low for a bit, and fans have been understanding. She was not down and out though. She was still around working on different projects like a “Behind the Music” special for VH1, touring overseas, writing and producing number one hits for other artists, collaborating with Timbaland on “Take Ur Clothes Off” and appearing on a new version of Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night.” Missy Elliott also did a little tv movie called “Black Girls Rock” which aired on BET. Rumor has it she is working on the release of the much anticipated seventh album. Yes, “Block Party,” which was scheduled for an original release in December of 2007 is finally going to happen. This is very exciting news as her last album, “The Cookbook,” was out in 2005. That has been a long wait for her very loyal fans. And although Missy has kept releasing some singles here and there on soundtracks and appeared in songs with other artists, fans are still starved for a whole Missy album. Hold your excitement down a bit because there is no official release date still. There are talks of the end of this year, which is fast approaching I might add. And there is talk of early next year. Either way, Missy’s fans are ready for her. Missy claims to have the Graves disease under control without medication, and everyone is thankful for that. She is ready to go and bring fans the “So Addictive” sound that is “Supa Dupa Fly” all over again.
